Kay received the ESSFTA Agility English Springer Spaniel of the year award in 2010, 2011 and 2012.  She competed at the AKC Agility Nationals in Lexington, Virginia in March 2011.  She earned her MACH4 in her home state of Minnesota in April 2011. She followed up with her MACH5 in Fargo, North Dakota in October 2011 and her MACH6 in Minnesota in March 2012.  She was
one of the top five Springers competing at the AKC Agility Invitational in Orlando, Florida in December 2011.  Kay has also earned the TQX title by qualifying three times in a day on ten different occasions.  This title indicates that she has the ability to work at a distance from her handler and consistency
in qualifying.

  

 

Kay earned her MACH 2 in February and her MACH 3 in September.  At the AKC Agility National Championship in March 2010, she had three clean runs and finished 39th out of 270 dogs in her height category.  She earned an invitation to the AKC Agility Invitational in Long Beach, CA when she completed the qualifying period as the #6 Springer Spaniel in the country.  At this event, Kay ran clean and finished 10th out of 86 dogs in the 20” height class.  Kay will be competing in the AKC Agility National Championship in April 2011 in Lexington, VA.  We are thrilled and honored to announce that Kay won the ESSFTA Agility English Springer Spaniel of the Year Award for 2010.

Kay is Jan and Jackie’s second performance dog. Kay is a pleaser and loves to work, very accurate in
agility. Kay has had an extremely successful year.  She has qualified for the  2010 AKC Agility Nationals in Tulsa, OK.  This is the second year in a  row that Kay has qualified for AKC Agility Nationals.  At the 2009  ESSFTA National Show, Kay placed 2nd and 3rd in her two runs.  Kay is  currently ranked the #4 AKC Agility Springer in the country. 

Kay earned her MACH II title in February 2010. In March 2010 She competed in the AKC National Agility Championships. Kay placed 39th out of 270 20 inch dogs, Yay Kay!

Ch. Cedarwood’s Laser Beam, CDX earned his first
Utility Leg Feb. 27, 2011 and his second Utility leg
on March 13th, 2011!

 Laser was owner handled by Jean to his American Championship by the time he was 2 years old.  He then started on his Obedience titles to date he has a CDX, RN, RA.  He is currently practicing for his utility obedience title and Rally Excellent ltitle. Laser was TCVESSA’s High Scoring Novice Obedience Dog in 2004 and High Scoring Rally Novice Dog in 2005. Laser is also training in Agility.  He earned his first qualifying score at the ESSFTA National in Kentucky with a first place.  Laser is Owned & Loved by Jean Dockendorf and Pat Welch.

“Bisbee”


Bisbee was the number one Preferred Agility Springer in AKC’s 2011
rankings.  Her consistency has improved which has resulted in more
frequent clean runs.  Bisbee has earned nine double Qs toward her
PAX/PACH title.  She is a crowd favorite due to her speed and
enthusiasm on the course. 

  

Bisbee has become more consistent and recently earned 3 double Qs toward her PAX title. She often runs her jumpers courses in over five yards per second. Bisbee is a crowd favorite due to her speed and enthusiasm on the course.

Bisbee is a very fast seven year old agility dog.  She has had a  string of good runs lately and earned her MJP title at the
Duluth agility trial in September 2009.  She also earned her MXP title in February 2010 and almost always places first in her class.

“Jolie”


Jolie is Cathy’s first performance dog and she has done wonders with her. Jolie
earned all her above titles by the time she was 18 months old. Jolie is smart,
fast and loves to please.  At the Atlanta Kennel Club on 4-10-08 and
the Chattahoochee Weimeraner Club Jolie qualified in Excellent A Agility and got
two second places. Jolie finished two titles in Nov. excellent Jumper w/weaves (AJX)
and Agility Excellent (AX).  Jolie earned her MACH in March ’11.

Waylon is just starting his performance career following
in his little sister Jolie’s footsteps.  Along with finishing his
Championship, recently Waylon has earned two Agility titles in Oct. and Nov.
Novice Agility Jumpers (NJA) and Novice Standard (NS) placing first and
second in his classes.

Cher finished her American Championship
with a Specialty win at TCVESSA and at the Del Valle Kennel Club. Cher and
Krissy are now competing in Agility. At the ESSFTA National 2007 Cher earned
two seconds in Agility and a qualifying score in Rally. Cher also made the
cut in the Breed ring. Cher has now earned her Novice Standard and Novice
Jumpers titles and is on her way to the Open titles. Cher and Ginnie have
earned her Rally Novice title. Krissy and Cher are also playing CPE Agility
games.

“Jackson”



Jackson was owner handled by Jack Filepek to his
Championship with Specialty wins.  Brenda then took over and is training him
in Agility, Obedience and Rally.  At the 2007 National Jackson took a 2nd
place in Novice Agility and a 1st place in Novice Jumpers. He also has one
leg in Rally Advance.  Jackson is also shown in NADAC Agility and has
his Touch-N-Go, Tunnelers and Jumpers titles. Watch for more news
